3% Down Conventional Loans Now an Option!

It was recently announced that 3 percent down conventional loans will soon be available. This is a great option for first time home buyers or people that don't have a lot of cash to put down. Until now most buyers wanting to put a minimal amount down used FHA's 3.5 percent down program. This new 3 percent down conventional loan will be a better option for many people because the mortgage insurance will be cheaper than the FHA loan.

Home Prices Continue to Rise

Home prices continue to RISE, especially in Georgia. Over the past year median home prices have risen over 13 percent here in Georgia. This is more than twice the national average of around 6 percent. It's a great time in the market for buyers and sellers. Interest rates are still very low giving buyers a great opportunity to purchase while sellers are enjoying quicker sales at higher prices due to lower inventory and competition among buyers.
